HARDWARE FOR THE CHECKMASTER PROGRAM

 

Biometrics Scanner - $195.00 plus $500.00 for the module and $203.00 Annually The U.are.U 4000 is a USB fingerprint sensor designed for use with DigitalPersona's U.are.U applications and developer tools.  The user simply places his/her finger on the glowing sensor window, and the device quickly and automatically captures the fingerprint image.  Data Age software products utilize this device to quickly log employees into the software application without the need for login names and passwords.  This also allows management overrides throughout the system by the manager placing his/her finger on the pad rather than typing in a user name and password that may be seen and used by another employee.  This device can also be used for customer verification.  Whereas a customer can have his/her fingerprint on file and can verify that they are who they say they are.  This is a great verification tool to help minimize check cashing fraud.

 

Scan Shell Optical Scanner - $495.00 plus $500.00 for the module and $130.00 annually per reader CheckMaster has the ability to use an optical ID scanner whereas the image of the ID will be saved on file while simultaneously capturing the data on the front of the ID and placing it into the customer input screen automatically.  Most of the time entering a transaction involves typing in the customer information: this is a HUGE time saver and makes the front counter much more efficient.  This can also be used to pull up a customer's existing transactions when they come in to make a payment. TIME is MONEY.

 

Hand Held Products(HHP) 3800 Series Scanner - $295.00 for POS Barcodes

 

 The HHP 3800 is designed to scan barcodes for point of sale transactions in our Liquor Store POS system.

 

ID Innovations Magnetic Strip Scanner - $195.00 plus $500.00 module and $99.00 annually This feature alone can cut your input time down by more than a minute per transaction.  Think of how much time that will save over the course of a year!  CheckMaster allows you to scan the magnetic stripe on the back of an ID (State specific), and automatically fills in the data on our Customer input screen, although it does not capture the image (Scan Shell does both).  If the magnetic strip is not demagnetized or severely scratched, the data is read 100% accurately and can save crucial time in customer input.  This scanner can also be used to pull up customer's transactions when they come in to pay.  The scanner can also be used for scanning Credit Cards for credit card processing.

 

Excella Check Scanner by Magtek - $895.00 plus $295.00 module and $99.00 annually

 

 CheckMaster allows for the scanning of checks during the transaction for payday loans or check cashing.  This scanner not only reads the magnetic account number and routing number on the bottom of the check (MICR), but also takes a front and back image of the check.  If there are any discrepancies on the check, the business owner can refer back to this image.  This device also takes a black and white image of the customer's drivers license and will read magnetic stripes for customer searches. 

 

MICRImage Check Scanner by Magtek - $595.00 plus $295.00 module and $99.00 annually CheckMaster allows for the scanning of checks during the transaction for Payday Loans or Check Cashing.  The MICRImager scanner scans an image of the front of the check and reads the magnetic account and routing number on the bottom of the check.

 

POSX - Wireless barcode scan gun - $595.00 This scanner can be used for scanning barcodes like the 3800 but since it is wireless, it can also be used for doing physical inventory around the store.  It has a range of 300 ft. from the computer.  Great for our Liquor Store customers.
